We're looking for a dynamic Warehouse Attendant/Delivery Driver to join the team and play a key role in this exciting new chapter.
With a national reputation for service and reliability, SPB is a trusted supplier of premium battery products to the automotive, commercial, and industrial markets. As we integrate the Cairns branch into our growing network, you'll work closely with the Branch Manager to strengthen customer relationships and drive local sales growth.
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to fill a dual role as a Warehouse Attendant and Delivery Driver. In this position, you will play a vital part in our daily operations, ensuring that our warehouse is organised and that customer deliveries are executed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Attendant:
Assist with the organisation and maintenance of the warehouse.
Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments.
Prepare orders for delivery by picking and packing products accurately (some heavy lifting).
Maintain cleanliness and safety within the warehouse.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflows and operations.
Complete customer orders for walk-in, email and phone sales.
Delivery Driver:
Load and unload products from the delivery vehicle.
Maintain delivery documentation as required.
Escalate customer feedback to relevant sales representatives/warehouse manager.
Follow planned routes while adhering to safety regulations and traffic laws.
Communicate effectively with customers and provide excellent service.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
The ideal candidate will have:
Forklift licence
Current drivers licence and/or MR licence
Attention to detail
Customer first mentality
Friendly personality and good interpersonal skills
Knowledge of Cairns & surrounding districts
Ability to work autonomously and as a team
