About the role:
At John West Logistics, we are seeking Heavy Combination (HC) Truck Drivers to join our team in Rocklea, Queensland. As an HC Truck Driver, you will play a vital role in our logistics operations, delivering goods and supplies to a very limited number of customers in Brisbane and Gold Coast regions.
What you'll be doing:
Using a curtain sided trailer with with Roll on Roll off capability deliver empty cans and related products to our customers sites for filling. Mostly this means you will only be opening the rear doors of the trailer. You will go to a small number of sites on a regular basis so you will become very familiar with the task and routes.
What we're looking for:
- A current Heavy Combination (HC) driver's license with a good driving record
-10 to 12 hours
- Plenty of weekend work available if wanted (it is a 24 hour a day 7 day a week operation)
Full medical including drug & alcohol test is mandatory prior to commencement.
