In order to deliver the Metricon service standards and cater for continued growth, we are looking to further strengthen the Construction team by adding an additional Trade Labour Manager. The successful candidate will be joining Queensland Construction team, based in Robina.
Responsibilities
Allocate labour as per requests from Site manager
Email plans and reports to suppliers and trades
Advise Site & Construction Manager of trades booking dates
Provide daily support to Trades, Suppliers and Site Managers
Ensure Trade is scheduled and has necessary information (plans, PO, schedule) for the job
Daily and monthly reporting
Actively own Trade Management and contribute to overall business unit
Retain the best quality trades; and
Set the expectation for Trade and ensure collaboration to achieve company objectives.

The successful candidate will have
Certificate IV in Building & Construction, a Diploma in an equivalent course is an added advantage
Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a management role within a customer focused, time critical work environment
A thorough/extensive working knowledge of construction processes and details is a prerequisite
A working knowledge of Building regulations, Construction details, Engineering details and Previous on-site construction role
Up to date knowledge and understanding of regulations and requirements
Highly competent in the Microsoft Office suite PC skills (advanced level in Excel)
Excellent time management and communication skills is a must
Proven experience in workflow management
