Key responsibilities:
Lead and manage strategic regional and global tenders, including technical concepts, commercial strategy, and preparation of high-quality bid documentation
Develop and lead the tendering function at a strategic level within the APAC region, coordinating with global tender management, sales, and business development teams
Ensure regional offices can submit tender documents of the highest industry standards
Create, implement, and manage tendering-related processes, strategies, and tools in cooperation with Sales, Business Development, and other functions
Develop, lead, and train a highly skilled local team of tendering specialists
Process and work on strategic tenders and MSAs (ITT/RFI/RFQ), collaborating with global/regional/local teams and stakeholders
Support worldwide and regional sales teams in bid presentations and negotiations for key tenders
Make strategic commercial decisions in coordination with country/regional management
Review contract terms and conditions, identify and assess risks, and propose to mitigate them
Skills, knowledge, and expertise:
Some years experience in a management position in sales and tendering within the project logistics industry
Strong technical, operational, commercial knowledge of international project freight forwarding
Proven track record in creating high-quality commercial and contractual proposals, offers, and tender documents
Highly motivated, proactive leader with the ability to design and implement strategies and processes
Experience in leading and developing people and managing functions
Strategic thinker and decision-maker, driven for continuous improvement and success
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, also excellent in English
Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office and relevant software
Analytical, well-structured, able to multi-task, with a high sense of responsibility and attention to detail
Willingness and ability to travel internationally on a regular and extensive basis
