What will your typical day look like? This is a permanent role, as a Jr database administrator, you will be involved in: Providing database administration support Ensure database environments are managed as per best practice Ensure database environments are secure, recoverable and well maintained Respond to and resolve incidents and requests within SLA’s. You are someone with: Minimum 1-2 years as a Microsoft SQL Server database administrator as a primary role Experience in installation, database server builds, applying patches, upgrading, configuring, trouble shooting of SQL SERVER 2014/2016/2017/2019/SQL Azure Sound knowledge and experience in configuring solutions - AlwaysOn Availability Groups, Log shipping, Failover clustering and replication Experience in PowerShell & SSIS to automate the day to day activities and troubleshoot/enhance the existing scripts. Understanding / experience of database encryption Experience in a SQL DevOps/Continuous delivery environment desirable Must be security focused with a focus on least privilege permissions Experience in troubleshooting and performance tuning Good knowledge in administering PowerBI, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS Experience writing T-SQL and PowerShell scripts Experience with data masking and privatisation desirable A strong interest and focus on performance improvements and automation Experience with AWS/MongoDB/PostgreSQL database administration desirable

During the 19th century, most of the colony's area was detached to form separate British colonies that eventually became the various states and territories of Australia. However, the Swan River Colony was never administered as part of New South Wales. Lord Howe Island remains part of New South Wales, while Norfolk Island has become a federal territory, as have the areas now known as the Australian Capital Territory and the Jervis Bay Territory.
