As the Senior Business Analyst – Research & Analytics, you'll drive how data is leveraged to solve business problems, identify links between external data points and travel behaviour, and consult with stakeholders to define problems, set success metrics, and communicate insights effectively.
Day to day:

Extract and combine data from multiple sources for model building or analytics.
Perform exploratory data profiling, product crosstabs, and descriptive statistics.
Select appropriate analytical approaches, favoring iterative delivery.
Understand business domain, recommend model changes, and evolve information and requirements.
Become proficient in visualization tools like Power BI, creating complex calculations.
Articulate decision-making processes, solutions, and frameworks to diverse audiences.
Leverage data to shape product strategy and support team initiatives.
Address complex, unstructured problems by developing core analytic frameworks.
Manage projects across teams with varying technical expertise.
Build data availability and business intelligence solutions.
Present analyses to management and stakeholders.
Promote a data-driven culture across teams.
Mentor team members in articulating ideas and managing resources.
Conduct analyses to identify opportunities for improving customer experience and KPIs.
Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
Partner with various teams to align priorities and resources.

Candidate profile:

5+ years in product and customer analytics.
3+ years in quantitative analysis roles.
Experience with relational databases and big data, writing performant SQL queries in environments like Azure Data Lake, EDW, AWS, or Hadoop.
Experience with web analytics tools (Adobe, Google Analytics, Mixpanel).
Proficiency with visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik).
Experience in travel, e-commerce, or technology is a plus.
Strong quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
Bachelor’s or Master’s in mathematics, data science, analytics, or related fields.
