A bachelor's degree in civil/structural, mining, geotechnical, or geological engineering is required. As part of our commitment to developing and servicing our key clients across Australia and beyond, Mott MacDonald is currently looking for a Technical Director and Leader to head our Tunnels Team based in Melbourne where you'll work on a variety of cutting-edge rail projects such as the Suburban Rail Loop, highway projects across Victoria, exciting interstate projects, and play a key role in representing our tunneling capability overseas, with likely involvement with our counterparts working on projects in New Zealand and North America. The opportunity Your role will be responsible for leading the preparation of feasibility studies, tender designs, and detailed designs for rail and highway tunnels. More broadly, your role will include winning and delivering work in the transport, energy, and water sectors for underground infrastructure works, and undertaking numerical analysis, preparation of designs, and design documentation including reports and specifications for underground works. As a member of the Transport Leadership Team in Victoria, you will also be an inspirational and motivational leader, who is passionate about inspiring and developing your people to realise their potential through project and client leadership and demonstrating exemplary technical service.
