The Role
Teachers in the Hedland SHS Health and Physical Education team are focused on creating outstanding outcomes for students and empowering every learner. We are a collaborative, supportive and close-knit team in a way that only a high-quality regional school can be. Our practice is data-driven to ensure improvement for our students.
The successful applicant will strive for excellence in Health and Physical Education teaching and demonstrate a desire to deliver a range of courses across Year 7-12. A Certificate IV in Training and Assessing and Outdoor Education qualifications is highly regarded. We aim to empower young people from diverse backgrounds so all students can be successful. High quality expectation relationships and collaborative practice is a key asset to our team’s success. The applicant will ideally demonstrate an ongoing willingness to learn from and share their experience with other members of the team.

Staff must remain employed in the location until the end of the school year to be eligible to receive the second payment.
