Position: Taxi Driver
Salary: $75,000 $80,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation
Hours: 38 hours per week

About the Role
We are seeking a responsible, customer-focused Taxi Driver to join our team. The role involves providing safe, reliable, and efficient transport services to passengers across the local area. The ideal candidate will have excellent navigation skills, a professional attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate a taxi vehicle using mobile computer systems and radio networks to log waiting passenger requests and updates.
• Pick up passengers at designated locations or when hailed on the street, ensuring safety and punctuality.
• Confirm passenger destinations and plan the most efficient and appropriate routes.
• Transport passengers safely and comfortably to their desired locations.
• Assist passengers with luggage as needed, particularly at airports, stations, or hotels.
• Collect fares and process payments accurately, providing receipts where required.
• Occasionally collect and deliver parcels or small goods in accordance with company procedures.
Qualifications:
• Current driver’s licence appropriate for taxi operation and a clean driving record.
Skills and Experience
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Taxi Driver or relevant
• Excellent knowledge of local roads, traffic patterns, and navigation.
• Strong customer service skills and a professional, courteous manner.
• Ability to handle payment transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Familiarity with taxi booking systems, GPS, and communication devices is desirable.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
