Job Title: Systems Engineer

Location: Sydney CBD, working in the office
Our client is a growing IT consultancy, who are dedicated to providing solutions, new technologies/processes and deliver exceptional service to their clients in Australia.
Due to growth plans they are seeking a Systems Engineer to join their collaborative team. This role involves a mix of business-as-usual (BAU) tasks and exciting project work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking, servers, virtualization, and Azure environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage Azure virtual machines, VNETs, and backups
- Replace firewalls, manage Share Point, virtual machines, and set up Azure Virtual Desktops.
- Research and analyse new security and compliance tools, providing clients with tailored solutions.
- Manage Windows servers, Linux machines, basic networking, and firewalls
- Act as an escalation point for complex issues.
- Follow change control processes and maintain a good relationship with key clients
Skills required:
- 3+ years of experience delivering project solutions to various clients
- Ability to run virtual machines, VNETs, and Azure Virtual Desktops.
- Experience with core networking, access points and firewalls
- Able to manage servers, virtual environments and Active Directory
- Familiarity with security tools such as SEIM
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to create solutions quickly.
