- Salary Negotiable based on experience
- 5 Weeks Annual Leave
- Fantastic team culture & reputable venue
The Role
Working closely with the Head Chef, you'll help lead day-to-day kitchen operations and be a steady hand during service. This is a hands-on role where you'll run the pass, guide the team, keep prep organised, and ensure consistency across a fresh, produce-led menu.
The food is approachable but thoughtful - think chargrilled proteins, seafood, and Mediterranean-style & bistro favourites that are built for flavour and simplicity. While the venue can be busy, the kitchen runs smoothly and the culture is calm, focused and team-oriented.
You'll Bring
Experience in fast-paced, casual or bistro-style kitchens
Confidence with Mediterranean and Modern Australian cuisine
A team-first mindset and clear, steady leadership style
Strong communication, time management and reliability
Good organisation across prep, service and kitchen operations
Bonus: exposure to mid to large scale events or functions
What's on Offer
$100 K + Super
Straight shifts, consecutive days off and a balanced roster
A stable, well-supported kitchen and friendly culture
Room to grow into a senior leadership role
A great inner-suburban location with an easygoing, loyal clientele
If you're a Sous Chef looking for more stability, a better work rhythm, and a professional yet relaxed kitchen culture - this is a great next step.
We're also recruiting for a range of unlisted chef roles across Sydney - so if this isn't quite right, feel free to get in touch for a confidential chat.
