About the Opportunity
The Solicitor - Construction and Major Infrastructure Projects is an exciting new position created in the Crown Solicitor’s Office in partnership with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport.
This is a unique opportunity to build valuable experience and play a leading role working on major projects such as the Torrens-to-Darlington (T2 D) Project, the Tram Grade Separation Project, and the new Adelaide Aquatic Centre Project.
The role provides a rare opportunity to develop one of the State’s most significant construction and infrastructure legal practices by advising on contracts with leading building and design companies.
The successful applicant will provide legal advice in construction law and major infrastructure projects within DIT. Experience in areas such as commercial, procurement, environment, planning, land acquisition, property, construction, and public law will be highly desirable.
The successful applicant will also build networks across CSO, DIT, the South Australian Government, and the industry.

About the Business
The CSO is the primary provider of legal services to the South Australian Government and works collaboratively with DIT.
A major focus for the role will be advising the North-South Corridor Program Delivery Office, which oversees the delivery of infrastructure projects.
Special Conditions for Employment
Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance. Applicants must currently possess or be eligible to obtain a practising certificate within South Australia.
