We are now looking for a one licensed and accredited Solar & Battery Installer to join our growing team.

🔧 About the Role This is not an entry-level solar role.
We are seeking an experienced, fully qualified electrician who: Holds current Clean Energy Council (CEC) Solar & Battery Accreditation Is SAA accredited for battery storage installations Can lead installs confidently and efficiently Maintains high workmanship standards Takes ownership of site safety and quality You will be responsible for delivering premium solar and battery installations that meet SJ Power’s strict quality standards.
✅ Responsibilities Install residential and commercial solar systems Install and commission battery storage systems Perform switchboard upgrades and compliance work Lead electricians or apprentice onsite Ensure all installs meet AS/NZS standards Complete commissioning and testing correctly Maintain clean, organised job sites Represent SJ Power professionally with customers 🛠Required Qualifications & Experience Essential: NSW Electrical Licence (Unrestricted) SAA Solar Accreditation (Design & Install) SAA Battery Accreditation Minimum 2+ years experience in solar installation Strong understanding of grid connections & compliance Valid Driver’s Licence White Card Working at Heights Highly Regarded: Experience with premium battery systems EV charger installation experience EWP Licence First Aid Certificate 🔒 Safety & Standards At SJ Power: Safety is non-negotiable We do not rush installs at the expense of quality We do not work on live equipment We follow SWMS and compliance strictly If you cut corners, this role is not for you.
