About the company We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a highly successful concrete business in the ACT. They provide specialised concreting services to residential commercial builders and industrial facilities. Projects are carried out, by using advanced methodologies and processes making them a leader in the industry. About the role You will be responsible to supervise and coordinate the activities of all trades and subcontractors on site during the project and provide a safe working environment for the projects. Projects range from commercial to civil contracts so a good understanding of structural, civil and from works is required. You will begin on a 4 month project based outside of the ACT all accommodation and expenses with be covered. Key Responsibilities for the role Lead, mentor and support site teams to be able to deliver scope of works. Ensure assigned tasks and projects meet relevant codes, standards, specifications, budgets and timelines. Safety awareness and ability to identify risks or potential hazards and document. Skills & experience Previous experience in supervising on commercial and civil sites. Knowledge in civil, formwork, REO and concrete desired. Ability to read and interpret technical plans and drawings with a good attention to detail and problem solving skills. Excellent leadership, communication, customer relations and advanced time management skills with an ability to perform calmly under pressure.
