The Role Knight Piesold’s head office in Australia is in Perth, Western Australia. Due to a strong pipeline of upcoming work, we are looking for a number of Site Engineers to join our site-based team for projects in WA. The Australian-based Engineer will be responsible for: Overseeing and managing the construction of tailings dams based in various locations; Earthworks quality control and assurance, including laboratory and field testing; Supporting the successful implementation and delivery of project scope; Our Ideal Candidate The successful applicants will ideally have: Degree qualification in Engineering with either Geotechnical or Civil specialisations; Relevant work experience within the mining industry and experience with earth fill dam construction would be advantageous; A strong understanding of earthworks QA/QC requirements; Good communication and reporting skills; A proven track record of site supervision and client liaison and able to demonstrate ability to maintain relationships with stakeholders would be advantageous; Experience with laboratory and field testing of soils.
