We are seeking expressions of interest for a Senior Researcher within the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport Be part of a dynamic team that values innovation, collaboration, and the power of data to drive change.

Clerk Grade 7/8 position with a salary range $106,025 - $117,363 per annum plus superannuation Temporary full-time role available up until March 2025, located in The Rocks, Sydney CBD About the role As a Senior Researcher, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing research projects that directly influence strategic planning and decision-making for both internal and external stakeholders.

With a strong focus on quantitative research, you'll guide projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they align with organisational goals and deliver clear, actionable insights.

In this role, you'll: Lead the end-to-end delivery of research projects, including brand and advertising tracking, campaign evaluation, and creative concept testing.

Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure research outcomes drive business and government reporting needs.

Translate data into easy-to-understand reports that directly inform key business decisions.

Contribute to continuous improvement within the division, sharing your expertise to boost efficiency and knowledge management.

About You You are an experienced and analytical researcher with a passion for delivering high-quality, data-driven results.

Your expertise in quantitative research methodologies makes you a trusted partner in brand tracking and campaign evaluation.

You’re skilled at managing complex projects and thrive on building strong relationships with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience in quantitative research and analytics reporting.

Expertise in brand and advertising tracking, campaign evaluation, and creative concept testing.

Proficiency in research tools like SPSS/Q, Displayr, Qualtrics, and advanced Excel & Power Point.

The ability to confidently communicate insights that inform and drive business decisions.
