Australian TV & Media Group are a small production company that punches above their weight, producing feature documentaries, weekly tv programs, podcasts, and providing executive level production consulting and services.
We have a role for a senior production co-ordinator or junior production manger to join our team, working primarily on our weekly tv show, our next feature documentary, and host of online and client-driven projects.
Position Overview: The Production Co-ordinator/Manager position is a support role to the Executive and Series Producers, working across our television, documentary and online projects.
This is a senior co-ordinator / junior production manager role, and provides training and the industry experience needed to develop into a senior production manager and/or line producer role.
It provides an opportunity to enhance existing skills, learn new skills, and the workflow and disciplines needed in the media industry.
This is a diverse role that consists of administrative support/office management, client liaison, media research, production coordination for location and studio shoots, pre-production and location support on a wide range of projects from feature documentaries, television programs, brand funded content to online media products.
Essential Job Functions / Responsibilities and Duties: Office Management and Administrative Tasks Client/Guest Co-ordination and Liaison Pre-production - liaising with crew, compiling call sheets and schedules, etc Post Production - co-ordinating freelance crew including editors, writers, online content producers, etc and deadlines Supporting Executive Producer Media Research - compiling bios, liaising with guest, etc Office and Digital Media Management Must be able to work unsupervised Non-Essential Job Functions: Script, article and online copywriting Location producing and assisting Requirements: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Sharepoint, etc)Completed media related tertiary education, or equivalent industry experience Must have a track record of successfully completing entry tasks in a recognisedtelevision and/or media production company This is a casual or part-time office based role in Pitt Town, NSW offering flexible hours working 16-24 hours per week.
