Senior Investment Adviser – Global Institutions

A Melbourne-based investment and property finance organisation is seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Investment Adviser – Global Institutions to join its Melbourne advisory team. The company is an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) holder and private credit fund manager specialising in real estate finance. Established in 2017, the business focuses on providing structured funding solutions for property development projects and facilitating investment opportunities for wholesale investors.

Operating within the private credit sector, the firm connects Australian real estate projects with domestic and offshore capital sources, including investors across the Asia-Pacific region.

Location: Melbourne, VIC

Salary: $160,000 – $180,000 per annum plus superannuation

Tenure: Full time and ongoing

This senior professional role is responsible for providing independent professional investment advice and financial strategy guidance to clients and supporting the development and management of sophisticated investment portfolios across property-backed and alternative investment opportunities.

Applicants should demonstrate:
RG146 Tier 1 Compliance (Securities, Derivatives, and Managed Investments) is mandatory.
Linguistic Proficiency – English Professional fluency is mandatory for high-level stakeholder liaison and performance reporting.
Linguistic Proficiency - Asian Languages: Professional fluency in one or more Asian languages such Mandarin is highly preferred to facilitate business development and strategic relationship management within the broader Asia-Pacific (APAC) regions institutional sectors.

You must have unrestricted full time Australian working rights to be considered.

Remuneration

The position offers a salary in the range of $160,000 to $180,000 per annum plus superannuation, commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
