An opportunity is available for a Senior HSE Advisor to join large-scale resource construction projects across Western Australia. This role is site-based and suited to someone with 7+ years’ experience in the mining or resource sector who is confident working within structured, high-compliance environments.
You’ll play a key role in supporting site teams, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring critical risk controls are embedded in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Support project teams in maintaining strong HSEQ standards on site
Assist with implementation of safety systems and critical risk controls
Conduct site inspections, audits, and frontline engagements
Participate in risk assessments, SWMS reviews, and safety planning
Assist with incident investigations and follow-up actions
Contribute to emergency response planning and readiness
Support training initiatives and promote positive safety behaviours
What You’ll Bring
7+ years’ experience in HSE within the resource sector
Rio or FMG induction highly regarded
Strong understanding of WA mining safety legislation
Practical, solutions-focused approach
Confident communicator able to engage crews and supervisors
30% site uplift
2/1 FIFO roster
Exposure to major WA mining construction projects
