Location: Perth, Brisbane Short Description: In the role of Technology Lead, you will be expected to develop bespoke applications in the mining domain. This role will interface with client and elicit technical requirements, design and develop technical components. Roles and Responsibilities: For you to be successful in obtaining this role you will need to possess the following: Must be able to refine requirements based on discussion with client. Estimate for managing deliverables based on requirements Develop, unit test and support applications using Python Django and Postgres Work with a global team in agile environments. Ensure high performance of applications and provide support. Skills /Competencies: Essential : Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline. At least 5 years of relevant experience as a full stack developer Extensive experience with Python Highly experienced with Python Django and Postgres Highly experienced with CI/CD pipelines AWS hosting and support (at least 1-year experience in S3, EC2, RDS) Preferred : Prior application development experience in mining operations. Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment. Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment. Knowledge of Agile software development and project management Postgres database, experience with SQL (5 years’ experience) Additional Skills: Excellent customer interfacing skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
