An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dedicated Science Teacher to join our College community on a full time, ongoing basis. Reporting to the Head of Learning - Science, this role will be responsible for teaching Science subjects across Years 5 to 12 in a collaborative and progressive environment. Qualifications
Relevant teaching qualifications and registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
Demonstrated outstanding classroom teaching skills across years 5 - 12
Experience in teaching VCE and/or International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) would be an advantage
Interest or background in Outdoor Education and/or Sustainability will be viewed favourably
Knowledge of contemporary pedagogy and innovative use of ICT in the classroom to enrich learning
Well developed classroom management strategies which enhance student engagement and outcomes
Active contributor to a collegial work environment
Willingness to uphold the ethos and values of the College Application Requirements A cover letter addressed to the Principal
A resume, including at least two professional referees
