Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse on a permanent part‑time basis to support a busy Nuclear Medicine department in Bundaberg. This role involves supporting cardiac imaging services, including myocardial perfusion scans, within a specialised medical imaging environment.
You will work within a multidisciplinary team providing patient care, monitoring and procedural support across diagnostic and cardiac imaging services.
Key Responsibilities
Cardiac monitoring and patient assessment during procedures
Support myocardial perfusion scans and cardiac stress testing
IV cannulation and medication administration
Patient preparation, education and post‑procedure monitoring
Monitor and respond to adverse reactions
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Support safe and efficient department workflow
Requirements
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Strong cardiac monitoring and clinical assessment skills
IV cannulation competency
Experience in CCU, ICU, cardiology, procedural or medical imaging environments highly regarded
Nuclear Medicine experience beneficial but not essential
Strong communication and patient care skills
