Join Our Team — Wattle Creek Equestrian Centre
Wattle Creek Equestrian Centre, on a picturesque 7-acre property in The Gap (12 km from Brisbane CBD), has offered rider development, equine care and coach mentoring for 30+ years. We're expanding and seeking a reliable, enthusiastic team member.
Role
Casual: ~15–25 hrs/week, Monday–Saturday. Flexible schedule; days/hours negotiable.
Primarily coaching-focused with scope to add stable duties, horse training and admin
Who we want
Coaching qualifications OR strong riding background, competition experience and practical horse management.
Comfortable working with children and adults.
Reliable transport (living near The Gap is a plus).
First Aid and Blue Card preferred but not required (can be obtained later).
Supportive, well-established team.
Flexible hours and on-the-job development.
Path to Equestrian Australia Riding, Horse Management and Coaching certificates (Introductory & Level 1).
Make a meaningful contribution to a vibrant equestrian community.
