About the role
We are seeking a passionate and loving Qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Miniversity Early Learning Centre in Mundingburra, Townsville, Queensland.
Our Nursery Room is where you will enjoy a play based nurturing environment with a maximum of 8 children.
This part-time or full-time role offers you the opportunity to positively impact young children's lives in a nurturing and supportive environment.
What you'll be doing
Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate educational programs for children aged 0-5 years.
Implement the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and support the overall development of each child.
Observe and assess children's progress and provide individualised support to meet their individual needs.
Foster a warm, caring, inclusive learning environment that promotes children's creativity, curiosity, and social-emotional skills.
Collaborate with parents and caregivers to build strong partnerships and support children's learning and development.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and quality standards.
Actively participate in professional development opportunities to continually improve your practice.
What we're looking for
Certificate 3, Diploma of Children's Services or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.
Excellent understanding of child development and a commitment to creating high-quality learning experiences.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
Passion for early childhood education and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of young children.
We encourage a play-based learning environment combined with intentional teaching moments to foster children's development.
Current First Aid and CPR certificates and a valid Working with Children Check.
