A boutique Canberra-based consultancy delivering complex projects for Federal Government and Defence clients is seeking multiple Junior Project Support Officers to join its growing team.
This organisation works across major capability, transformation and technology programs and offers strong mentoring, professional development and personalised career support. The team is known for investing heavily in training and supporting early-career professionals to grow into senior project and consulting roles.
These roles will suit motivated project officers or coordinators who already hold an NV1 clearance and want to build their career in a supportive consulting environment.
The Role
You will support senior consultants and project leads across a range of government programs. Responsibilities may include:
Supporting project delivery and coordination activities
Assisting with project documentation, reporting and governance
Maintaining schedules, action registers and risk logs
Preparing briefings and stakeholder communications
Supporting organisational change and transformation activities
Coordinating workshops, meetings and stakeholder engagement
You will gain exposure to complex government projects and work closely with experienced consultants who provide strong mentorship and development.
About You
To be successful you will ideally have:
An active NV1 security clearance
1-4 years experience in project support, PMO, coordination or consulting roles
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience supporting project documentation, reporting or governance
The ability to work with multiple stakeholders in structured environments
An interest in government, defence or large transformation programs
