Reporting to the Executive Project Manager, this role is responsible for the successful delivery of a broad spectrum of new build, fit out and refurbishment projects for Crown Melbourne Limited. Manages the overall delivery of a series of Capital Projects by working closely with all parties from project inception to completion, ensuring that the product is faithful to the brief while achieving time, cost, and quality parameters.

Some responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:

• In consultation, facilitate the development and stakeholder sign off detailed design briefs, including operational requirements, brand positioning, financial, logistical and time constraints.

• Monitor and control expenditure to ensure completion of projects within budget.

• Deliver projects on time, to budget and agreed quality standards through robust site and project management methods.

• Process invoices & progress claims in a timely manner to ensure prompt payment.

• Demonstrate an understanding of the Business Units/Client’s needs, which is reflected in the delivery and quality of the product.

• Provide a high level of customer service to the Business Unit/Client during the facilitation, design, construction, and handover phase including regular communication on status and assisting with interpretation of plan layouts and finishes.

• Control the project expenditure and commitment during the project, take appropriate timely action and ensure all variations are vetted, negotiate, and documented.

• Ensure FF+E and other client related items are delivered with during the project to the expected levels of quality, time and budget.

What you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Architecture/Engineering/Construction Management Discipline

• Minimum 5 years appropriate experience in the building/construction industry

• Ability to operate at both a high level of self-sufficiency and within a tight-knit team

• Established negotiation and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects according to deadlines and budgets

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
