Review drawings and technical specifications on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects, cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. How You Will Make An Impact You will coordinate engineering discipline across service jobs and projects, conduct electrical design, reviews, approvals, support and coordinate drafting and site installation, prepare project documents, and serve as a specialist in applying advanced concepts and methods. You will work with team members on quality issues with customers and factories, and support field service teams with technical assistance. You will support Project Managers in issuing claims, provide cost-effective quality solutions, ensure adherence to safety standards, and mitigate risks. You will improve work plan effectiveness, conduct risk assessments, and report issues with recommendations. You will interact with customers, officials, contractors, attend project meetings, collaborate with supply chain, evaluate supplier proposals, and accept equipment/services as fit for purpose. You will maintain a network of engineering professionals, share best practices, ensure compliance with safety and contractual requirements, and suggest process improvements. You will coach and support colleagues, assign tasks, and possibly lead a small team. Your Background Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering with experience in High Voltage equipment and power substations. Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience. Experience in providing engineering support including specifications, design coordination, safety, testing, and quality. Experience with standards such as Australian Engineering and Technical standards (AS/IEC). Proficient with MS Office; able to read/draft drawings.
