Following a successful merger in 2023, and aligning with our 2024 growth plan, we’re on the lookout for a Project Director - Airport Pavements & Civil Works Roads to join our Aviation team. Our Aviation team has extensive experience working on major transport infrastructure projects and programs of work, from the early development and planning stages to delivery. About you The Project Director will lead and manage a portfolio of projects focused in the Aviation sector. This role will also undertake Superintendent roles on related civil projects. Ideally, we are seeking an experienced client-side Project Director with airside aviation experience. Airports are unique, dynamic, and the environment is fast-paced and challenging, but also provide an interesting variety of infrastructure projects. You’ll also need: Experience overseeing the delivery of complex airside aviation projects, utilizing both design and technical management expertise. Strong technical skills and understanding of standards and requirements for the design and delivery of civil infrastructure. Experience in managing and/or superintending contracts (including Australian Standard Contracts). Experience in contributing to proposal preparations, outlining technical and delivery capabilities, and aiding in the preparation of proposals for road and pavement projects. Qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or related discipline. Strong communication skills and an ability to build rapport with various stakeholders.
