Role Overview The Producer forms part of Studio production team, with a focus on producing and bidding of all projects, as well as project managing select jobs. While the focus of this role is on live production—including video and photography—this person is responsible for the coordination and control of productions, planning and scheduling of resources and scheduling and liaising with the client and other stakeholders when necessary. The key role is to support the live production team in the timely and successful delivery of multiple print, digital, social and TVC projects simultaneously. It's a freelancing role, with the possibility of going permanent. Key Responsibilities Work closely with our project managers to manage multiple productions through the full life cycle, making sure that services are delivered on time—from pre-production to post-production and delivery. Creation and maintenance of clear job documentation, including reporting on job performance on completion. Review and put into action the evaluation of a job, helping to implement improvements. Plan necessary research, contact suppliers and freelancers, be involved in key client calls to take minutes and action points and ensure the successful follow up to keep production moving efficiently. Ensure projects have the resources to be completed on time and with the correct skill set allocated, raising conflicts with project management team and finding solutions where necessary. Produce smaller scale projects under the guidance of our Production Delivery Manager. Ensure that projects are profitable with keeping running actuals, delivering on-time. Coordinate with the project manager on the beginning stages of new jobs, e.g. create new job folders, assign a number, and draft a job in email for an executive producer. Maintain job actuals and pre-actuals. Work with the live production team to update and manage the overall production schedule, ensuring that the requirements of the whole production team are considered. Organise and maintain the production calendar with upcoming meetings.
