Duties & Responsibilities:
Reviewing and analysing CPS’s internal operational systems, administrative workflows, deployment models and reporting structures to identify procedural inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Conducting work studies by examining existing and proposed security processes, administrative methods and organisational procedures to streamline functions and improve efficiency.
• Recording and analysing workflow charts, job functions, reporting templates, manuals and head-office documentation to understand current-state processes and organisational gaps.
• Preparing and recommending proposals to revise internal methods and procedures, optimise workflows, redefine administrative roles and support continuous improvement within CPS’s organisational structure.
• Assisting with the implementation of approved recommendations by updating CPS procedures, drafting revised operating instructions and preparing new procedural manuals and internal guides.
• Monitoring compliance with CPS’s internal policies, Private Agents licensing requirements and regulatory standards, and advising management on departures from documented procedures.
• Developing structured project and process management methodologies within the head office to support efficient allocation of administrative and operational resources.
• Reviewing operational performance reports, KPI data and deployment summaries to provide evidence-based recommendations for procedural improvement and resource optimisation.
• Identifying organisational risks, recommending mitigation strategies and contributing to internal control improvement.
• Advising management on workflow adjustments, task allocations and updated resource utilisation models to increase administrative efficiency.
• Preparing training materials and delivering internal training on revised processes and improved organisational methods.
• Monitoring industry trends and changes in security administrative practices to support the ongoing improvement of CPS’s internal systems.
• Managing internal stakeholder expectations by ensuring that CPS’s documented processes, administrative procedures and work standards met organisational and regulatory Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business or Management.
2. Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience
3. Strong understanding of Australian market conditions and business regulations, particularly within the security services sector
4. Proven experience analysing, reviewing, and improving organisational procedures and workflows
5. Demonstrated ability to develop, review, and maintain policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
