Podiatrist Melbourne, Australia Reference: 6668219 Part-time, 0.2 FTE, fixed-term position until June 2026 Work for a multi-award-winning iconic community health organisation Generous salary packaging options to reduce your cohealth taxable income About the role The Podiatrist is responsible for providing quality community-based outpatient podiatry services to individuals and groups within our community. The Podiatrist will have the knowledge and ability to treat foot-related conditions resulting from diabetes, peripheral vascular disease, and other high-risk foot complications. Provide high-quality Podiatry services to clients and groups of clients in accordance with agreed targets Provide a high quality and flexible Podiatry services to clients from marginalised backgrounds Provide a welcoming environment where the consumers are able to inquire and learn about a range of health-related matters and engage in self-management Contribute to and participate in health education and promotion programs aimed at maximising good health and preventing illness Minimum Requirements: Tertiary qualification in Podiatry Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Psychology Board of Australia)At least two years' experience as a Podiatrist Demonstrated clinical competency in the areas of biomechanical assessment, nail surgery, diabetes assessment and wound management All appointments are made subject to a satisfactory Police Check, a Working With Children Check (WWCC), completion of a Pre-Employment Declaration Form, evidence of legal rights to work in Australia, and evidence of vaccination against COVID-19 (3 doses). Successful applicants will be required to provide evidence of immunisation assessment including Influenza within 12 weeks of commencement. This is in accordance with the Victorian Minister of Health Mandatory Vaccination Orders for COVID-19 and legislated requirement for influenza vaccination.
