We have an opportunity available for a capable and experienced plant operator to work on‑road construction projects across the Bega Valley / Eurobodalla Shire area. The role will be based from a depot at Bega. An initial duration of 6 months is being offered, with potential to extend for good quality operators.
Applicants should have proven experience on a variety of earthworks plant including bobcat, excavator, roller, backhoe and grader. Experience with final trim/finishing grader operations would be highly advantageous but is not essential.
A current, unrestricted Australian driver licence is essential.
Whilst plant operating will be the primary focus of this role, applicants must also be willing to undertake manual labouring duties as required to assist the team in completing required job tasks.
You will be working full time hours of work, up to 10 hours per day and working a 9 day fortnight (RDO every second Monday).
This role will involve travelling and working away for up to a week at a time. Accommodation is provided and applicable allowances paid.

Plant Operating - with grader experience preferred and finishing grader operations a distinct advantage
current WHS White Card - essential
Driver licence - unrestricted Australian licence, MR truck licence or above a bonus
Worker On Foot card - or willingness to obtain (online link able to be provided for successful applicant)
Traffic Control preferred
previous experience with road construction or maintenance will be highly regarded
