Plant Manager – Manufacturing
Beaver Process Equipment invites you to lead and transform our Brisbane manufacturing plant. As the Plant Manager, you'll own everything that happens on site—from safety and quality to production, engineering, capital projects, and team development. You will also be responsible for a capital program to double the plant's capacity over the next 3 years.
The Role
This is a full‐site leadership role that combines operational control, technical problem‐solving, strategic improvement, and people leadership. You'll run a build‐to‐order production system using configure‐to‐order and engineer‐to‐order workflows in a hybrid job shop environment with separate value streams for each product family.
What You'll Own
Site leadership – full ownership of all aspects of the site.
Production – drive daily discipline across safety, quality, production, and cost.
Pre‐production engineering – improve design‐for‐manufacture and streamline workflows.
Capital projects – deliver a major capital program to double the plant's capacity over 3 years.
Manufacturing engineering – drive process development, equipment upgrades, layout improvements, and bring in‐house all processes for maximum control & quality.
Continuous improvement – train the team and drive a site‐wide improvement culture.
Team – recruit, develop, and empower high‐performing managers, leaders, and teams.
You will also execute a pipeline of improvement projects—including bringing new processes in‐house, re‐arranging workshop layout, workshop facility upgrades, commissioning new equipment, upgrading quality (QA/QC), new tooling design & manufacture (3 D printing & machining), and transfer of manufacturing of a new product (Defender pinch valve). You report to the executive leader responsible for all operations.

Problem‐solver – inquisitive, analytical, and always looking for a better way.
Calm under pressure – steady, focused, and clear‐headed when things get tough.
Driven & accountable – proactive, dependable, and takes ownership to get results.
Inspiring leader – leads by example, earns trust, and brings out the best in diverse teams.
High standards – relentless on safety, quality, and improvement every single day.

What's In It For You
This high‐impact leadership role offers real ownership, visibility, and trust. You'll run the Brisbane site end‐to‐end, backed by people who care about performance, not politics.

Serious backing – work for an owner who invests in manufacturing with a long‐term vision.
Pride & purpose – lead a site that reflects your standards and transforms under your leadership.
