We’re looking for a People & Culture Business Partner to join our team based in Tomago. This is a hands-on, relationship-focused role partnering with our operational leaders across multiple Bis sites. You’ll play a key role in strengthening leader capability, driving employee engagement, and delivering practical HR solutions that make a real impact on our teams. What you’ll be doing Partnering with operations to deliver people strategies that lift engagement, capability, and performance. Providing trusted advice and coaching on employee relations, conduct, and performance management. Supporting the rollout of engagement and culture initiatives across our operational teams. Facilitating talent and capability programs, including workforce planning, recruitment and succession initiatives. Driving leadership development through training, coaching, and feedback. Assisting with change management, organisational realignment, and continuous improvement projects. Working closely with the broader P&C team to ensure consistent and high-quality people outcomes. About you You’re a confident communicator and a natural relationship builder who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment. You’re practical, down-to-earth, and able to balance business needs with a strong people focus. You’ll also bring: Tertiary qualifications in HR, IR, or a related discipline (postgrad or business studies desirable).5+ years’ experience partnering with leaders in an operational or heavy industrial setting. Strong knowledge of performance management, talent development, and employment relations. Proven ability to influence and coach leaders at all levels. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel to other Bis sites as required (Cardiff, Paget, Karara & UGM locations).
