Currently looking for multiple parks and gardens operators a
Inner West Area
6 Month Assignment
Monday to Friday, 06:30am to 02:45pm
We have several opportunities available for experienced Parks and Gardens labourers to join the Open Space teams, on a casual 3-month assignment.
Duties will include:
Maintenance of gardens including:-
Mowing, weeding, pruning and irrigation
Assisting with landscaping tasks
Operate and maintain plant and equipment
Maintain records and all other associated paperwork
Essential Criteria:
Must be happy to participate in a pre-employment medical
White Card
PPE
Ride on mower experience
Brush cutting experience
Relevant general labouring experience including grass cutting, weed control and open space cleaning
Certificate in horticulture (preferred, not essential)
MR licence (preferred)
COVID-19 Vaccination certification : The successful candidate for this position will be required to provide evidence of their double vaccination status, or a valid medical contraindication certificate, prior to the department finalising the appointment of the candidate.
