About you

You are excited about the prospect of working alongside high-performing colleagues to continue your legal career as an experienced Paralegal / Junior Lawyer. You will demonstrate a drive to succeed in conjunction with a strong work ethic and the ability to perform in a high-pressure environment. Your previous experience will include working in a legal environment, ideally within a banking and finance practice. You pride yourself on your client centricity, can-do attitude, and strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and being proactive. You are a self-starter and able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Your role

Working as a Paralegal / Junior Lawyer in our Banking and Finance Group will take you beyond conducting research and performing administrative tasks. Your day-to-day duties will include drafting documents under the supervision of industry experts as well as communicating directly with our major clients. Other key responsibilities include:

• Serving as the primary point of contact for matters for our major banking clients and non-banks.
• Demonstrating adept file management skills including file creation, closure, and billing.
• Communicating in a manner that reflects our high standards and those of our clients.

Your strong organisational skills and attention to detail will see you managing this challenging and varied workload in an autonomous manner. Working alongside a close-knit team, reporting directly to the Partner, your acute listening and communication skills will enable you to convey information effectively and confidently in both verbal and written form.
