HEO is the world's first commercial non-Earth imaging (NEI) and insights services company. As the 3 D and VFX artist, you'll be joining our team in Sydney developing realistic 3 D models of space objects to support our products and creating visuals for product marketing purposes. With years of experience in the space domain, the HEO team will help you expand your knowledge and skills to flourish in this exciting role. Responsibilities
Develop detailed 3 D models of spacecraft, rockets and other objects based on rudimentary to detailed reference imagery
Rig and animate 3 D models to simulate different operational scenarios
Develop 3 D visuals (both video and high quality still imagery) for product marketing purposes
Develop a library of customisable 3 D components and surface materials
Improve HEO's existing 3 D models
Enhance imagery and video for product marketing purposes Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Digital Art & Design, Game Development, Computer Science or similar field
Expertise in building realistic 3 D models based on rudimentary to detailed reference imagery
A deep understanding of setting up cameras and light sources to achieve realistic results within simulation environments
Expertise in:
Blender
Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar)
Adobe Aftereffects (or similar)
Knowledge in the Python programming language is considered a plus
Previous experience in gaming, space or geospatial industry is considered a plus Company values
