The Role
This role is a member of a hardworking, proactive, and committed team responsible for managing the day-to-day aspects of the mining operations including but not limited to safety, personnel, and training and development activities.
You will be responsible for:
- Coaching and mentoring the Mining Coordinators to achieve compliance with the mine plan;
- Conducting training gap analysis and action/development plans for each employee;
- Ensuring effective utilization of the mining fleet to deliver on the mining plan;
- Proactively maintaining statutory and shift-specific documentation;
- Accurately collecting data and investigating all incidents;
- Influencing and maintaining a positive and safe team culture.
About You
This role would suit a self-starter with the drive and focus to create and maintain harmonious relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will also have:
- Previous experience in a similar role;
- Restricted Quarry Managers Certificate of Competency;
- WA 'HR' class drivers licence (minimum);
- Current First Aid Certificate;
- Front line management (preferred);
- Intermediate computer skills.
