Randstad is currently working with a top-tier defence contractor on a critical enterprise network modernisation program. This company will lead the planning and designing of the communications, surveillance systems, and network services to support the critical air traffic control functions. As a Systems Integration and Test Engineer, you will support the testing and verification of systems and manage the integration and test environments. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Melbourne. Flexible work arrangements and an office/home office split are also available.

About the Role

• Work with a team of like-minded individuals to consult across systems, Projects and Network Engineering
• Prepare test plans and procedures
• Design and implement Automated tests Frameworks
• Conduct and manage system testing activities, as well as identify system requirements and manage configuration.

About You

• A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering, or Electronics and Communications Engineering
• Extensive V&V experience with mission-critical systems
• Proficient in hardware and/or software installation and configuration
• Experience with Voice Communications Systems, Radios, Telephony (Vo IP, analog or digital)
• Experience with working on all phases of System Development Life Cycle
