The Role
We are seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our diverse, dynamic and innovative team in this ongoing opportunity.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist, within the People & Culture team, is responsible for delivering exceptional high quality recruitment services across the School. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with People & Culture Partners and Campus Hiring Managers to align with Caulfield Grammar School's Vision and Purpose.
The role involves delivering end-to-end recruitment and supporting leadership duties, offering mentorship to the recruitment team, and ensuring that recruitment efforts are aligned with the School's objectives.
Key Duties
- Partner with Hiring Managers in delivering end-to-end recruitment assignments as per Recruitment Policy and Procedures.
- Provide advice on recruitment best practice, market trends, and sourcing strategies to key client areas.
- Assist the Talent Acquisition Manager in managing day-to-day team operations and ensuring the team meets recruitment goals.
- Develop and implement innovative and effective recruitment strategies and campaigns, using various channels and platforms, to attract and engage diverse and high-quality talent.
- Ensure effective attraction, recruitment and selection strategies to best support objectives and attract talent in a competitive market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to ensure a collaborative and efficient recruitment process.
- Manage agency delivery and agency candidates for recruitment assignments.
- Participate and contribute to P&C initiatives through involvement in problem solving and creative innovative solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our talent acquisition function, by identifying opportunities for enhancement.
- Assist with effective and efficient onboarding processes and induction, where required.
- Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours.
Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in end-to-end recruitment, staffing strategies, and offer negotiation.
- Leadership and mentoring experience in previous recruitment positions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in using Recruitment and HRIS systems.
- Strong understanding of recruitment strategies, sourcing techniques, and industry trends.
- Exceptional stakeholder management across all levels.
- Ability to commute across all metropolitan campuses on a regular basis.
- Hold or willing to obtain an Employment Working With Children Check.
