The Leasing and Licensing Officer is responsible for leasing transaction management, administration, and oversight across various portfolios head leased on behalf of the Director of Housing. These activities include negotiating, drafting, and providing advice on leasing matters and arranging the execution of documents.
Reporting to the Team Leader, this role is also a hands-on property management role that leads lease administration, stakeholder management, critical date and contract management, risk management, and general portfolio administration duties.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE- Lead the negotiation, drafting, and execution of lease agreements for leased-in properties; provide advice and recommendations to management on leasing matters.
- Contribute to the development of office processes for the suite of lease/licensing activities including critical date management, performance management, lease negotiation and execution, and other related functions.
- Answer queries, provide timely advice, undertake follow-up action, and identify emerging administrative functions, pre-planning, and evaluation.
