On behalf of a large Federal Government Agency, we are looking for an EL1 Assistant Director - Business Case Cost Modelling. This role will play a key part in driving high-impact projects, providing expert financial insights, and shaping critical business decisions. This is an opportunity to lead complex financial modelling and cost analysis, influence policy and operational strategies with data-driven insights, and manage key stakeholder relationships at senior levels.
This role is a 6 month assignment based in Richmond or Geelong.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement project plans, ensuring deliverables are on time and within budget.
- Conduct Excel-based financial modelling and cost-benefit analysis.
- Provide expert advice on project design, governance, and operational integration.
- Oversee reporting, risk management, and quality assurance for major initiatives.
- Prepare and review business cases, reports, and executive briefings.
To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate:
