Do you speak Mandarin? Your time and friendship could mean the world to an older person.
We are looking for a friendly volunteer to visit Mandarin-speaking residents living in a local aged care home (500m from Greensborough Station).
Visits might involve a simple chat, helping with an activity, playing cards or going for a short walk.
We're seeking people who are:
Friendly, kind and willing to commit to improving someone's quality of life through regular visits.
Comfortable interacting with people who experience the ups and downs that come with dementia, mental health and the ageing process.
If this sounds like you, we'd love to discuss this opportunity further and answer your questions.
We value our volunteers and will do all we can to ensure you love being part of our team.
