Your new position
Reporting to the supportive and caring owners, the aim is to provide top quality service, working alongside each other and a small support team to make the clients' experience truly memorable.
As it is a small and exclusive property, the duties will be varied and as a team you need to possess combined skills and experience to accomplish the following:
Guest experience and reservations
Respond to sales enquiries and process bookings/reservations
Guest relations, including check-in/check-out and responding to all inquiries
Maintain outstanding customer experience at all times
Housekeeping
Organise casual housekeeping/laundry staff
Stock take and ordering of goods
Assist housekeepers when required
General maintenance / other
Maintain gardens and forest tracks, minor maintenance and other handyman tasks as required
Manage regular contractors and services, as well as ad hoc repair and maintenance requirements
Maintain compliance with WHS and other regulatory requirements
Essential skills
As a couple, you will need to have combined skills to manage the upkeep and general operation of the housekeeping of the accommodation as well as front office, reservations, and general administration. (There is no catering onsite)
We are looking for a couple that are passionate about delivering top-notch service, who lead by example and genuinely want to see the business succeed and thrive.
The key criteria
Proven experience in similar, onsite roles, including all the aspects of the essential skills as per above
Experience using reservation software (Preno platform experience preferred)
Excellent communication skills, in both written and verbal English
Strong, proven customer service focus - enjoy working with people and a track record of high customer satisfaction
Ability to undertake basic maintenance and manage contractors
Thorough understanding of responsibilities under the WHS act
Ability to contribute at a management level to the marketing of the business, including the use of social media from a business perspective
