Position Overview: Wi SE Medical is looking for a Patient Liaison Officer who will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, providing excellent customer service while maintaining the smooth operation of our front desk.
This role requires a proactive and confident individual who can manage various tasks with attention to detail and a compassionate approach.
Key Responsibilities: Front Desk Management: Greet and assist patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanour.
Answer and direct phone calls efficiently, handling inquiries and scheduling appointments.
Maintain a tidy and organised reception area.
Administrative Support: Manage and update patient databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
Process payments and handle billing inquiries; create invoices as needed.
Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and scheduling.
Manage office inventory and order supplies when necessary.
Assist with document preparation, including forms and reports.
Customer Service: Handle patient complaints and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
Provide clear communication and support to ensure a positive patient experience.
Proactively identify areas where support is needed and take initiative to address them.
Qualifications & Skills: Previous experience as a receptionist, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse individuals.
Dependable and punctual, with the ability to manage stress in a fast-paced environment.
Basic understanding of medical terminology and healthcare procedures is preferred.
Utilise office software and tools efficiently for daily tasks.
Proficient in touch typing (90 words per minute).
Experienced in payment processing and invoice creation.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
