Chandler Macleod is recruiting a Mechanical Supervisor on behalf of our client. This role is suited to a strong people leader who can support teams, manage day to day operations, and ensure projects are delivered safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities Departmental Supervision Support, coordinate, and supervise Technicians, Tradespersons, and Apprentices
Assist the Tier 3 Manager in communicating company policies, procedures, values, and expectations
Provide mentoring, training, and guidance to ensure teams meet role and performance expectations
Coordinate team meetings and address employee concerns
Manage absence notifications and provide input into performance reviews
Review, approve, and maintain accurate labour scheduling in sim PRO Departmental Operations Plan and coordinate daily labour, work tasks, materials, plant, and subcontractors
Forward plan departmental resourcing with the Department Manager
Coordinate project, job, and site meetings
Liaise with the WHS&E Advisor to manage safety and compliance requirements
Ensure correct use and maintenance of company and client assets
Oversee procurement, material ordering, and project documentation
Maintain safety responsibilities and Key Performance Indicators
Ensure sites and facilities are kept to required standards
