General/Business Unit Manager (CEO & General Management)This organisation is a high-performance business that operates in our national energy savings scheme across VIC and NSW in both metro and regional areas, delivering solutions and savings to our Residential, Commercial & Industrial markets for products, equipment upgrades, and new technology. The business is one of the longest standing in the VEU with established infrastructure and staff that have been pushing on a high curve of growth and are gearing up for the next few years as the energy market solidifies its plans toward the 2050 targets. Some of the products you'll find this business selling and installing across the market are energy auditing services, hot water heat pumps, split system air-conditioning, solar, lighting, and many other activities in the national markets. The role: This position is the General Manager of the organisation, reporting to and working alongside the company owner. The business is not short of industry expertise and high performers and is looking to bring on someone who can help them achieve their next level of business goals. Your responsibilities will include: Ensure certificate creation activity is optimal Manage relationships with top-level stakeholders and regulators Lead staff and team efforts to a common goal Lead the plans and execution Oversee outcomes across various states Have responsibility for general P&LMaximise company resource and output Prepare new launches for activities and products Grow and build the business units Drive efficiency and accountability in sales and operations Hiring and recruiting The benefits: A driven, forward-thinking company culture Generous salary range $150,000 - $160,000 neg on exp Having full ability to set growth and direction An industry segment with huge upside and future trajectory A fully resourced company with Cap Ex to spend Working alongside other energy scheme experts A business with national scope across states Ability to lead, direct and drive real change Multitude of product offerings for various markets Established brand in the scheme with good relationships The experience needed: To be considered for this role, it is a big advantage to come from within the energy savings scheme with experience and understanding of the certificate trading space. You will ideally have knowledge of the various schemes in the VEU & ESS and have experience in company management & general management at a senior level where you have successfully driven results. Experience at a General or Senior Management level Ideally experience from the energy savings scheme Ideally knowledge of Energy Saving Certificate activities Understand how to keep certificate creation activity efficient Experienced in Sales, Marketing & Operations Understanding of marketing and business presence Good people management & leadership skills Ability to work towards a common goal and bigger picture Long-sighted and short-sighted visions for now and the future Understanding of sales for both Residential & Commercial markets
