Communications Officer
Our client is currently seeking a Communications Officer to join the team within a State Government Department based in the Adelaide CBD.
The Communications Officer will support the development and delivery of digital communications and engagement activities to stakeholders. This includes crafting EDMs, SMS campaigns, and digital content using CRM platforms such as Mailchimp and Dynamics. The role will also support the review and improvement of existing communication products.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Develop and implement communication strategies and campaigns.
Create accessible, plain English content across digital platforms.
Coordinate the production of visual and video content.
Monitor and report on communication performance.
Build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
Support internal and external communication activities, including newsletters and forums.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
Proven ability to develop communication strategies, frameworks, evaluation methodologies, and governance structures, such as policies and procedures.
Experience in delivering digital campaigns.
Advanced skills in the production of high-quality communication products, including researching, analysing, evaluating, and implementing creative solutions.
Demonstrated experience in the application of communications and branding guidelines and policies.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Relevant qualifications and/or experience in communications, marketing, and/or public relations.
