Your role will involve establishing Telstra Health as a leading and innovative digital health provider, managing a team of specialists, and enhancing our brand reputation. You will oversee media relations, including responding to inquiries and collaborating with industry publications and the Telstra Media and Communications teams. Key responsibilities: Demonstrate leadership by communicating industry developments and brand strategy. Develop and execute a strategic marketing and communications approach. Contribute to the broader Telstra Health strategy as part of the Sales, Marketing & Communication leadership team. Build and maintain long-term, strategic relationships with senior stakeholders and key contacts, including government partners and agencies. Oversee the development and implementation of the overall marketing strategy to meet business objectives. Lead marketing planning, develop KPIs, and review the success of campaigns. Plan and implement strategic activities, including speeches, events, and media engagements, to enhance Telstra Health’s public brand. Lead the marketing team in shaping the discourse around digital health and creating opportunities such as registries and health information platforms. Drive the creation of contemporary marketing collateral aligned with our brand proposition. Position Telstra Health as a credible and trustworthy provider of digital health solutions. Develop speeches, white papers, and other communications materials in collaboration with Telstra’s Communications team. Act as the contact for regulatory authorities and manage external stakeholder relationships. Lead the communications team in developing stakeholder management strategies and communication plans. Oversee communication activities related to complex change initiatives and transitions. Facilitate stakeholder engagement and improve communication practices. Guide internal and external communications to support organisational change. Foster creative communication and set up innovation networks and communities. Oversee communications and media for the 1800 RESPECT service, including digital platforms and associated content. Skills and experience:10+ years in delivering successful internal and external communications and marketing activities, with a strong track record in brand development, ideally with global experience. Expertise in creating and implementing strategies to build a coherent, compelling, and credible brand, enhancing market position. Significant experience in developing influential relationships and achieving outcomes with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, industry leaders, and government partners. Ability to communicate authoritatively across all organisational levels, articulating business objectives and collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders. Proven capability in leading and developing high-performing marketing and communications teams, fostering a positive team culture, and coaching for optimal performance. Experience in leading real-time responses to emerging issues, including stakeholder management, media relations, and communications, ideally with global experience.
