About the role
Our Perth team is growing, and we are looking for a locally based Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer in the mining, infrastructure utilities and manufacturing industries, for current and ongoing projects. You will be a detail-oriented Engineer, with project, site or consultancy experiences capable of working from initial concept, through coordination of detailed design, to installation and commissioning.
Key Skills & Experience :
Relevant (3+ years) and current Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering experience,
Design exposure to LV (HV system is a bonus) design and cable sizing, PLC and Remote IO panel wiring, Cable management system, protection systems, substations, instrumentation, motor controls and switchboards,
Exposure to Arc Flash calculation reports, Arc Flash Detection devices,
Testing and commissioning experience (FAT, SAT) will be added value,
Experience with engineering works in mining and/or infrastructure (ex: Watercorp) and/or Utilities,
Exposure to generating study reports, scopes of work, equipment specifications and datasheets will be added value
Exposure to Auto CAD and/or Micro station drawing packages will be added value.
Familiarity with Power CAD, SKM PTW, ETAP, or DIg SILENT would provide an additional advantage,
Ability to deliver projects on time, on budget and to Verbrec and client standards,
Ability to maintain engineering standards across all designs and projects,
Be willing to work onsite to support clients and perform project tasks.
